CNC Machinist

Location: Portbury, North Somerset

Shift: Monday Friday, 07:00-17:00

Pay Rate: £13 p/h PAYE £15.08 p/h Umbrella

Contract: Long-term, Ongoing Work

We are recruiting a CNC Machinist to join our client s established team in Portbury. This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the UK s leading names in the automotive industry, known for quality, innovation, and long-term career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines to produce parts to specification and meet daily targets.
  • Perform maintenance checks and report faults or required repairs promptly.
  • Monitor machine consumables and request replacements when needed.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of all machined components.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area, including proper waste disposal.
  • Support continuous improvement and adhere to health & safety procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and participate in stock checks.

What We re Looking For:

  • Previous CNC machining experience essential.
  • Familiarity with power tools and hand tools.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Self-motivated with strong communication and organisational skills.
  • IT literate and fluent in English.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Forklift and Health & Safety experience desirable.
