CNC Machinist - Precision Engineering

Salary: £30,500

Hours: 37 per week, day shift

A well-established precision engineering company in Leeds is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team. This is an opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery, machining high-performance materials in a modern, well-equipped facility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-precision components
2. Optimise machine performance using Fanuc controls
3. Machine challenging materials such as Inconel
4. Read and interpret technical drawings for accurate setups
5. Work closely with the quality team to ensure high standards

What We're Looking For:

1. Experience as a CNC Setter/Operator in precision engineering
2. Familiarity with Fanuc or Haas controls, including G & M codes
3. Experience machining exotic materials is an advantage
4. Skilled in CNC milling or turning—both backgrounds considered
5. A team player with a focus on quality and efficiency
