We are working with our client who is an Oil & Gas equipment manufacturer based in the North East of England. We are assisting the client in the search for a CNC Machinist on a full-time, permanent basis.

This can be a miller or turner as they can move people around to suit!

Flexible shifts can be 4 day week, 5 day, night shift, or rotational!

Responsibilities

Programming and operating machines to produce products to required tolerances and specifications.
Using a range of materials including Non-Ferrous, Aluminium, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium.
Using a variety of measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, plug gauges, screw plugs, and ring gauges.
Increasing knowledge and training on other machining processes.

Person Specification

A time served CNC Machinist with relevant CNC experience.
FANUC or HAAS setting/programming experience.
Experience of working in a CNC Machining/Industrial Engineering environment.
Willingness to learn, pass on knowledge, and train others.
Flexible in their approach - willing to do overtime when required to suit customers' requirements.
