Job description

We are working with our client who is an Oil & Gas equipment manufacturer based in the North East of England. We are assisting the client in the search for a CNC Machinist on a full-time, permanent basis.

This can be a miller or turner as they can move people around to suit!

Flexible shifts can be 4 day week, 5 day, night shift, or rotational!

Responsibilities

  1. Programming and operating machines to produce products to required tolerances and specifications.
  2. Using a range of materials including Non-Ferrous, Aluminium, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium.
  3. Using a variety of measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, plug gauges, screw plugs, and ring gauges.
  4. Increasing knowledge and training on other machining processes.

Person Specification
  1. A time served CNC Machinist with relevant CNC experience.
  2. FANUC or HAAS setting/programming experience.
  3. Experience of working in a CNC Machining/Industrial Engineering environment.
  4. Willingness to learn, pass on knowledge, and train others.
  5. Flexible in their approach - willing to do overtime when required to suit customers' requirements.
