CNC Machinist

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a CNC Machinist to work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful CNC Machinist our client is offering:

• Hourly rate of £15 per hour
• 7.30am - 16.30pm Mon-Thurs, with a 3:15pm finish Friday
• Temporary ongoing role, this could lead to a Permanent role
• Free Parking
• Working with modern CNC based machinery

The role - CNC Machinist:

• Setting and operating existing products on CNC milling machines
• Setting of tools and fixtures, making required adjustments to offsets on all CNC milling machines.
• CNC Machining prototypes or production batch work
• Machining of a variety of materials
• Loading of blocks onto the CNC machine
• Look after the day to day maintenance of the CNC milling machining centres
• Keep work area and C.N.C clean, tidy and safe at all times

What our client is looking for in a CNC Machinist:

• Experienced with Heidenhain / Autodesk Power Shape
• Experience machining various materials
• Experience working with 3 & 5 Axis machinery
• Methodical approach to work
• Able to work on a variety of projects
• Ideally you will have experience in writing programmes, but this isn't essential
