CNC Machinist

We are recruiting a CNC Machinist to join our client’s established team in Portbury. This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the UK’s leading names in the automotive industry, known for quality, innovation, and long-term career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines to produce parts to specification and meet daily targets.
• Perform maintenance checks and report faults or required repairs promptly.
• Monitor machine consumables and request replacements when needed.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of all machined components.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area, including proper waste disposal.
• Support continuous improvement and adhere to health & safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members and participate in stock checks.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous CNC machining experience essential.
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Self-motivated with strong communication and organisational skills.
• IT literate and fluent in English.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Forklift and Health & Safety experience desirable.
