Job description

My client in the Chesterfield / Dronfield area require an experienced CNC Laser Operative.

Responsibilities of the Laser Operator:

1. Setting and operating CNC laser cutting machines to fabricate sheet metal parts
2. Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
3. Loading and unloading materials
4. Batch work and one-off assignments
5. Inspection of finished components
6. Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Experience of the Laser Operator:

1. Experience of operating laser machines is essential
2. Ideally worked with Amada
3. Previous experience of working in an engineering environment
4. Strong problem-solving skills
5. Ability to work alone or as part of a team
