An excellent opportunity for an Experienced CNC Grinder to join a well-established company based near Rickmansworth.

We offer a great service by manufacture of parts and sub-assemblies complete to a wide range of customers in sectors including Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas, Motorsport (including Formula 1), Food/Scientific and Medical to name a few.

Due to the expansion of our Grinding Department, we are seeking an experienced Precision CNC Grinder to join our busy and expanding engineering team on a permanent basis.

Duties will include:

1. Setting and Operating Cylindrical and Surface Grinders, and other equipment within our busy Grinding department.

Candidate Requirements:

1. CNC Grinding (Studer (Fanuc) / Jones & Shipman) programming & setting experience an advantage.
2. Manual Cylindrical and Surface Grinding including internal and external grinding.
3. A good understanding of engineering drawings.
4. Must be a proactive team player.
5. Ability and knowledge of grinding complex parts to tight tolerances.
6. Able to use various types of measuring equipment.
7. Ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
8. Experience of small / medium size batch work an advantage.
9. Previous experience of working in a similar sub contract manufacturing environment.
10. Good communication skills.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm - Friday 7:30am to 1:00pm. Overtime paid at 1.5x

Salary:

Up to £46k (negotiable & depending on experience) Overtime paid at time and a half. Private medical care available.
