Job description

Are you interested in working for one of the world's leading Aerospace companies on a fantastic shift pattern? What about working in a state-of-the-art machine shop, with a diverse mix of classic Manual and CNC Machinery and also brand new installations? If so, read on!

We are looking for industrious and ambitious CNC Grinders to join us in working for one of the most respected and well-known Aerospace companies in the world!

We are seeking CNC Grinders to work on a CNC Studer Grinder to start as soon as possible on the Day shift, machining parts from steels and aluminium to the high standards required by the Aerospace industry. As an applicant you'll need to be proficient in CNC Grinding, work as part of a tight-knit and dedicated team, and check your work with various inspection equipment and callipers. Knowledge of various programmes would be a great advantage, and knowledge of Fanuc is essential. You will also be required to work from mechanical drawings, make minor edits and offsets; knowledge of lean tools would be a real advantage too! No formal qualifications are required.

Pay starts at £16.84 and goes up to £17.35 after probation.

The Day shift is flexible, starting at either 0700 or 0730, whichever may suit you best. Full time hours with overtime when the business requires. Please don't hesitate to click apply, which automatically sends your CV over to us.
