Monday - Thursday: 14:45 pm - 00:00 am

Owen Daniels is excited to be working with a growing precision engineering company in Aldershot. As a business, they primarily supply to the Aerospace and Automotive sectors. They are looking for CNC Grinders to join the team on the second shift. This role will involve operating various machines to produce conforming products, as well as preparing materials and tooling for upcoming jobs.

CNC Grinder Job Description
  1. Operate machines, preparing the machine for grinding operations.
  2. Grind, deburr, and polish workpieces to bring them to the desired shape and dimensions, in accordance with the design specifications.
  3. Able to read engineering drawings.
  4. Be able to adjust machinery as and when required.
  5. Use inspection tools such as micrometers, verniers, and calipers to ensure quality standards and dimensions are met.
  6. Setting and running multiple machines when the component and/or batch sizes allow.
  7. Support colleagues by assisting with other duties when required, to aid the smooth running of the company.
  8. Work inline with the QMS and company processes.
CNC Grinder Skills and Qualifications/Experience:
  1. 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in a similar industry/role.
  2. The ability to use a range of measuring equipment.
  3. Good math and technical skills.
  4. Knowledge and experience of systematic problem-solving.
  5. Be proactive and a great team player.
  6. Be a quick learner and adaptable to change.
  7. Have excellent attention to detail.
  8. Be able to work effectively and efficiently to meet target deadlines.
