As the CloudCare Technician, you will perform the daily triage service by following the triage instructions and submit recommendations according to a process previously validated and accepted by the hospital. In addition, you will support the care team with technical troubleshooting and will also reach out to people with Diabetes providing technical assistance. The CloudCare Technician shall not take any medical/clinical treatment decisions.

You will be required to work on-site 5 days a week in the hospital Royal Glamorgan Hospital (Llantrisant CF72 8XL), therefore we would like you to live nearby.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Assist doctors and healthcare professionals by explaining to those PWDs elected to use CloudCare, how to use CloudCare and support PWD onboarding.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting directly to PWDs onboarded to CloudCare.
  • Perform the daily triage service to detect gradual deterioration of the glucose matrix.
  • Monitor/assess the uploads of patients' data for accuracy.
  • Capture HCP and Staff feedback related to CloudCare System and processes this within Diabeter for future product enhancements.
  • Report on patient’s proper use of dispatched devices through highlighting patients not uploading data for extended periods or as determined for proper tracking by the care team at the hospital.
  • If required, provide direct technical support to patients related to e.g., the patient app installation.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Professional with minimum 3 years of work experience in healthcare, ideally experience in the Diabetes field.
  • Experience or ambition to work with technological solutions and working with different devices.
  • Have knowledge and experience to be able to work behind a screen and quickly see the coherence of data and trends from the uploads.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Experienced in providing technical education for users (HCPs and patients).
  • Problem-solving capacity and willingness to work in an organization where remote care and remote contacts are part of daily work.
  • Ability to self-organize and deliver high quality work.
  • Fluent in English and ideally Welsh.
