Cloud Services Director - Cambridge - £100k+ and options available

A fantastic opportunity to join an organisation utilising cutting edge technology to service multinational companies across the globe!

Reporting to the CTO, you will play an integral part in the leadership of numerous technical teams working on a cloud-hosted software service.

What are the day to day responsibilities?

1. Ensure the stability, efficiency, and performance of all production systems and cloud infrastructure providing services to their customers.
2. Overseeing a global team of engineers, both those building and maintaining the infrastructure, and those providing on-call engineering expertise for issues that arise from the service.
3. Ensuring the current deployment of services is robust and efficient on a global scale.

What skills/attributes can I bring to this role?

1. A strong Engineering background - most likely DevOps/SRE focused.
2. Confidence operating within an AWS/Azure landscape - evidence of instilling cost saving measures are highly welcomed.
3. Proven experience working with SaaS models hosted in the cloud.
4. Exceptional operational mindset and strong attention to detail.
5. Ability to leverage stakeholders and clients, both internally and externally.
