Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Linux/AWS) – SC Cleared
- Location: Hybrid – 1 day a fortnight in Stoke-on-Trent
- Salary: Up to £50,000 p/a
- On-Call: 1 week in 5/6 (compensated, post-probation)
- Must Haves: SC Eligibility or Active SC Clearance
Who Are We?
We are an innovative software house delivering cutting-edge solutions to the government and financial sector. Our growing teams span data, cloud, infrastructure, and development, and we're now looking for a Linux-focused Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our expanding team in Stoke-on-Trent.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Handling BAU escalations from the service desk, ensuring smooth operations
- Designing and implementing cloud and infrastructure solutions
- Contributing to new projects and collaborating with technical teams & clients
- Attending in-person meetings (1 day per fortnight in Stoke)
What You Need:
- Linux SysAdmin/Engineering experience
- AWS Cloud expertise
- Virtual Machines (ESXi/vSphere)
- British Citizenship (Must be SC Cleared or Eligible)
Nice to Have:
- Networking knowledge
- Experience with other cloud platforms
- HPE, Dell infrastructure exposure
- Kubernetes (EKS) & containerisation
- Automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Red Hat Satellite
