Locum Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician (Band 5)

Are you a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding locum role in Birmingham? We have an exciting opportunity for you!

Job Title: Clinical Trials Pharmacy Technician (Band 5)
Location: Birmingham, NHS Hospital
Duration: Ongoing contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (on-site)
Start Date: April 2025
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of Pay: £18-£24 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our client's team as a Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in supporting clinical trials operations. In this role, you will:

  1. Dispense and set up clinical trials in accordance with regulatory requirements
  2. Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with trial protocols
  3. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support clinical research
  4. Maintain high standards of pharmaceutical care in an NHS hospital setting

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A current and valid GPhC registration
  2. Experience in clinical trials dispensing and set-up
  3. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  4. The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  5. A commitment to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with flexibility where possible. The contract is ongoing with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
