Clinical Trainer - Global Biopharma - Central/Southern England (Field Based)

The Company

Carrot is partnering with a mid-sized Global biopharmaceutical company focused on transformative medicines, with this role sitting in their Neuroscience disease area. They are on the search for a Clinical Trainer that has strong experience with botulinum injections for spasticity or cervical dystonia. You will be focused on developing and delivering training programs for healthcare professionals, providing training for both new and experienced injectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding access to treatment, providing expert guidance, and ensuring high standards of clinical education.

There is an option for part-time should you need to continue your clinical work.

The Role

  • Create and implement training programs for healthcare professionals on botulinum toxin injections.
  • Support clinical teams through in-person and virtual training sessions to optimise patient care.
  • Engage with healthcare providers and collaborate with internal teams to address training needs.
  • Facilitate educational workshops and hands-on sessions to ensure high-quality clinical practice.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on best practices for botulinum toxin use.
  • Ensure training initiatives are cost-effective and aligned with broader strategic goals.
  • Adhere to industry regulations and maintain best-practice standards in all training programs.
  • Understand patient pathways, funding structures, and regulatory requirements within the NHS and private sector.
  • Ensure training supports business objectives and clinical goals.
  • Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other stakeholders to strengthen advocacy and best practices.
  • Drive training initiatives and ensure successful implementation.

You

  • Registered Healthcare Professional (GMC, NMC, or HCPC).
  • Clinical expertise in botulinum toxin injections, particularly in spasticity or cervical dystonia. (Essential)
  • Experience in training, mentoring, or education within a clinical setting.
  • Ultrasound guidance skills for muscle localisation (preferred but not required).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CPR, BLS, or other clinical education credentials).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in educational technology and simulation tools for training delivery.
  • Ability to travel as needed to conduct training sessions.
