The Role of the Clinical Specialist

1. Field based role visiting hospitals throughout the UK
2. Providing clinical support and expertise to surgeons, clinicians and theatre staff
3. Visiting theatre departments mainly but there’s business to look after in critical care and other departments
4. Conducting reviews of customer inventory
5. Leading trials
6. Rolling out new products
7. Identifying opportunities to introduce new products to existing accounts.

The Ideal Person for the Clinical Specialist

1. Will have some clinical or sales experience in the Operating Theatre environment
2. A relationship builder who can challenge and influence the customer
3. Someone who is confident to provide training and clinical support
4. Someone who is commercially minded and wants to progress their career with a business on the up.
5. Someone happy with extensive travel and overnight stays
6. Happy to look at a more junior person who is looking to cut their teeth in this role.
