General Education/Further & Professional

Essential Criteria

  1. MSc in Clinical Science (GI Physiology & Urodynamics Science)

Desirable Criteria

  1. Teaching qualification

Experience

Essential Criteria

  1. Extensive experience in Masters level training (i.e., Clinical Scientist) with specialist skills gained in GI Physiology and Urodynamics evidenced in professional paper-based or e-portfolio

Desirable Criteria

  1. Publication or presentation of work at local or national meetings

Special Skills

Essential Criteria

  1. IT skills
  2. Experience of patient information systems; HIVE
  3. Excellent communication skills in a range of user and client groups
  4. Demonstration of a caring and evidence-based practice approach to their role
  5. Evidence in portfolio of specialist training and investigations; Specialist diagnostics and therapy; assisting with specialist clinics; managing case load; knowledge of clinical trials and audit

Desirable Criteria

  1. Experience of SNS programming counseling and follow-up care

Other Factors

  1. Eligible or working towards registration with HCPC

  1. BSG, tPFS, BAUS, ICS
