Clinical Samples Team Lead

Location: Cambridge
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hour week (Plus on-call availability requirement, 1 week out of every 4 weeks)

About the Role:
Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PBMC Specialist to join a thriving CRO as Team Leader. This is an excellent progression opportunity for someone with around 2 years+ of experience in PBMC or blood cell processing to move into a more supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Harvesting white blood cells from whole blood
  2. Processing clinical blood samples and isolating cells
  3. Performing cell culture and aseptic techniques
  4. Ensuring compliance with GLP and GCP standards
  5. Managing a team of 2 junior technicians (line management experience not essential, can be trained)
  6. Working hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday- Friday
  7. Out-of-hours On-call rota: 1 week in every 4 weeks, you would typically be called out twice a week (Additional salary incentive offered for this)
