This role comes with an initial salary range of £34,000–£36,500, along with an estimated additional £2,500 for unsocial hours shifts.

We welcome nurses with diverse backgrounds to embark on training for phase I and phase II clinical trials. Your responsibilities will encompass data collection for trials and safety monitoring. Our comprehensive training program culminates in an externally-validated qualification in clinical pharmacology practice and includes in-depth coverage of clinical pharmacology and drug development. We also provide support for your Continuing Professional Development (CPD). After completing your training, you will qualify to oversee specific trials in collaboration with pharmaceutical companies, offering you a chance to hone your skills in a new realm of nursing practice.

Minimum Requirements:
  1. Possess an adult NMC registration (RGN).
  2. Have at least 1 year of post-registration experience (prior research experience is not mandatory).
  3. Exhibit strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  4. Demonstrate proficiency in paperwork and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Additionally, candidates should be flexible to work during evenings, alternate weekends, and occasional night shifts (approximately every 6 weeks). This is your opportunity to embark on an exciting journey in the field of clinical pharmacology practice, even if you don’t have prior research experience.
