Are you a fully accredited clinician interested in joining our vibrant team working within critical care, oncology and palliative care? We have one full time vacancy, at Southend hospital. We would be supportive of applicants requesting job shares and flexible working.

Main duties of the job

We are an experienced multidisciplinary team which includes psychotherapists, counsellors, clinical and counselling psychologists, mental health liaison staff and administrators. We prioritise supporting our staff and their development by providing both individual and group supervision as well as regular team discussions.

You will link closely with the critical care and oncology and palliative care medical teams. The role involves working with inpatients and outpatients as well as providing a psychological perspective within the wider system. An interest in trauma, and experience of evidence based models would be helpful.
