Job Title: Clinical Psychologist
Location: Surrey (Hybrid / Community-based)
Salary: NHS Band 7 Equivalent (PS10)
Hours: 30 hours per week minimum
Contract: Flexible / Permanent

Are you a newly qualified Clinical Psychologist ready to make meaningful impact from day one? We have an exciting opportunity to join the inspiring Changing Futures team at The County Council, supporting individuals facing multiple and complex disadvantages.

As part of our innovative and trauma-informed Bridge the Gap outreach service, you'll play a vital role in improving the lives of adults experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, substance use, domestic abuse, and criminal justice involvement.

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Delivering trauma-informed clinical oversight to outreach services across Surrey
  2. Providing group and 1:1 clinical supervision and reflective practice for staff across 12 VCSE (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise) partner organisations
  3. Supporting front line outreach teams to build resilience and embed psychologically informed practices
  4. Co-creating and supporting the use of personal safety plans and psychological formulations with service users
  5. Attending weekly referral and supervision meetings (Monday & Tuesday, virtual)
  6. Promoting system-wide learning and best practice through partnership forums
  7. Championing the Changing Futures vision of long-term, person-centred, and sustainable system change

About You:
  1. HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist (or newly qualified and eligible for registration)
  2. Passionate about trauma-informed practice and social justice
  3. Skilled in reflective practice, clinical supervision, and multidisciplinary collaboration
  4. Able to work flexibly in a hybrid model, with occasional travel across the county
  5. A confident communicator with a strong commitment to co-production and community engagement
