We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist / Neuropsychologist with an interest in functional neurological conditions to join a large Neuropsychology department at Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
We are looking for someone to lead the provision of Clinical Psychology/Neuropsychology services within a multidisciplinary team including a Neuropsychiatry, Neurology, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.
The post holder will also join a large, friendly, supportive and welcoming Neuropsychology department comprised of 13 Clinical Neuropsychologists/Psychologists and 9 Assistant Psychologists in 5 services (General Outpatients, Neurosurgery, Cognitive Disorders, Stroke and Community Traumatic Brain Injury).

The post-holder will deliver assessment, consultation and psychological intervention for people with a diagnosis of Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). The post-holder will take a lead role in developing the outpatient and inpatient service, alongside the service manager, consultants, specialist nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists in evidence-based service development, implementation of service outcome measures, use of data to demonstrate service impact, service user involvement, quality improvement projects and research involvement.
As a senior member of the team, the post-holder will be expected to contribute to the supervision of more junior staff, along with the wider multidisciplinary team. They will also support colleagues from across the south-west, and nationally through professional networks and teaching opportunities. The team is actively involved in clinical research.

£74,290 to £85,601 a year, pro rata (Dependent on experience)
