Clinical Psychologist - Later Life Gloucester

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust
Gloucester
GBP 80,000 - 100,000
Job description

Psychologists currently within the service offer formulation-driven therapeutic interventions from a range of models including CAT, Systemic, Compassionate Mind, CBT/Mindfulness, and Neuropsychological approaches. We are keen to recruit someone who wishes to positively contribute to the skill mix within our team as well as the wider service.

There are good links with the Clinical Psychology Training Course at Bath University, and psychologists in the service input to the Older Adult teaching programme, have trainees on placement, and contribute to the selection process.

You will bring a strong interest in working with older people and their families and will be committed to the principles of person-centred and psychologically informed service delivery. You will be able to demonstrate professional and clinical skills directly relevant to the specialism, including the use of neuropsychological assessment methods and formulation-based interventions. This post would appeal to those who have a 'can do' attitude and who would relish the opportunity to continue developing the service. The role requires an adaptable, flexible, resilient, hard-working team member who has excellent organisational skills and the ability to use their own initiative.

The qualification, training & experience requirements for the role are underlined in the Job Description/Person Specification.
