Job description

TEEMA is seeking dedicated and licensed Clinical Psychologists to join our team in a contract role. This position involves providing psychological services within a correctional setting. The Clinical Psychologist will conduct assessments, offer therapeutic interventions, and contribute to the mental health support system for individuals within the correctional facility.

Job Title: Clinical Psychologist (Contract)

Compensation: Pay ranges from $90 to $160 per hour, depending on location and experience.

Job Type: Contract (Full-time or PRN hours)

Location: Various locations of your choice throughout the California area are available.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate the mental health status of individuals within the correctional facility.

2. Provide individual and group therapy sessions, developing and implementing treatment plans.

3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive mental health care for inmates.

4. Document and maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with departmental policies.

Requirements:

1. Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.

2. Current and valid California state licensure as a Psychologist.

3. Experience working in a correctional or forensic setting is preferred.

4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

6. Flexibility to work on-site, with no telehealth opportunities available.
