Job description

Spencer Clarke Group are in the lookout for a Head of Psychology to join our private client who are committed to providing exceptional care through a collaborative, multidisciplinary team approach. The post holder will operate within a hospital setting, encompassing two Acute wards and two PICU wards, housing a total of 52 inpatient beds.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing clinical leadership and supervision to a team of psychologists.
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based psychological interventions.
  • Conducting assessments and formulating treatment plans for patients in crisis.
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • A doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or an equivalent qualification.
  • Full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Substantial post-qualification experience, including experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological services.
  • Open to both children and adults clinical psychologists.
