Are you a Band 6/7/8a Clinical Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in South London? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist (Band 6/7/8a)
Location: South London - NHS Hospital
Duration: Ongoing contract
Schedule: 3, 4, or 5 days per week (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, 30-minute lunch break)
Start Date: ASAP, April 2025
End Date: Ongoing
Rate of Pay: £24 - £37 per hour (PAYE Direct Engagement)

What You'll Be Doing:
Join our client's team as a Clinical Pharmacist and play a key role in improving patient care across general acute wards and the dispensary. In this role, you will:

  1. Perform comprehensive patient medication reviews
  2. Ensure safe and effective prescribing practices
  3. Provide expert advice on drug therapies to healthcare teams
  4. Support the dispensary and ward-based pharmacy services
  5. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A current and valid GPhC registration
  2. Ideally, prior NHS hospital pharmacy experience
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  4. The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  5. A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This flexible locum role requires availability from Monday to Friday, with the option to work full-time or part-time (3-5 days per week). The contract is ongoing with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
