Locum Clinical Pharmacist - Oncology Wards (Band 7/8a)

Are you a Band 7/8a Clinical Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in Manchester? We have an exciting opportunity for you!

Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist - Oncology Wards (Band 7/8a)

Location: Private Hospital, Manchester

Duration: Ongoing Locum Contract

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Start Date: April/May 2025

End Date: Ongoing

Rate of Pay: £27-37 per hour, depending on experience

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our client's team as a Clinical Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of oncology patients. In this role, you will:

  1. Provide clinical pharmacy services to oncology patients
  2. Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to optimise patient care
  3. Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care and ensure safe medication practices
  4. Review and advise on medication regimens for oncology patients

Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  2. Clinical pharmacy experience (Oncology experience preferred but not required)
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  4. The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  5. A passion for providing excellent care and improving patient outcomes

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position requiring availability from Monday to Friday, with flexibility where possible. The contract is ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
