An established industry player is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist Independent Prescriber to join their dynamic team. The position requires a qualified pharmacist with an independent prescribing qualification, who will operate within their professional limits as a member of a multidisciplinary team that includes GPs, ANPs, Physician Associates, Paramedics, and First Contact Physiotherapists.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the GP and other practice clinical and non-clinical staff, playing a key role in supporting GPs and the broader primary care team to provide safe and effective care. They will provide medication-related patient services, including direct patient care. As a leader, the candidate will guide and support the practice team to ensure safe and effective prescribing, while maintaining and enhancing the quality of patient care within the practice.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
