Are you a Band 7/8a Clinical Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in Cardiff? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Job Details:
Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist (Band 7/8a)
Location: Cardiff, Wales - NHS Hospital
Duration: 6 months (potential for extension)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (30-minute lunch)
Start Date: April
Rate of Pay: £30 - £45 per hour (via Umbrella)

What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Clinical Pharmacist and play a key role in improving patient care within an acute hospital setting. In this role, you will:

  1. Perform comprehensive patient medication reviews
  2. Provide ward-based clinical pharmacy support for surgical & medical wards
  3. Deliver evidence-based treatments to optimise patient outcomes
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
  5. Maintain accurate patient records

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A current and valid GPhC registration
  2. Prior hospital ward experience and confidence in ward-based working
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  4. The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  5. A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM. The contract is for 6 months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
