Job Vacancy: Clinical Pharmacist (Band 7)
Location: NHS Hospital, Central London

Start Date: February 2025
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute break)
Hourly Rate: £25 - £31 per hour
Contract Type: Locum

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Pharmacist to join our client's pharmacy team at a prestigious NHS hospital in Central London. This exciting opportunity to cover medicine wards and offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with a competitive hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to medical staff on the Medicine Ward
  2. Review and monitor patient medication regimes
  3. Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and best practices
  4. Participate in ward rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  5. Dispense and counsel on medication as required
  6. Contribute to the development of patient care strategies
Requirements:
  1. Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  2. Proven experience as a Clinical Pharmacist, ideally with NHS Hospital wards-based experience
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  5. Knowledge of current pharmaceutical practices and legislation
  6. Flexibility to work the specified hours
