Are you a passionate Band 7/8a Clinical Pharmacist looking for your next exciting NHS locum role? We’re working with a fantastic NHS hospital in Merseyside offering a long-term opportunity to join a supportive and experienced pharmacy team!

Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist (Band 7/8a)

Location: NHS Hospital – Merseyside

Duration: 6 months minimum

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm with a 30-minute break or 9am–5:30pm with a 1-hour break

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: Ongoing

Rate of Pay: £27–£37 per hour (paid directly by the trust)

What You’ll Be Doing:

In this role, you will:

1. Perform comprehensive patient assessments
2. Create and implement personalised care plans
3. Deliver evidence-based treatments to optimise patient outcomes
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care

Requirements & Qualifications:

We’re looking for motivated, experienced professionals who are ready to hit the ground running. To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

1. A current and valid GPhC registration
2. Previous hospital experience – ideally across a range of wards
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. The ability to work independently and confidently in a busy clinical setting
5. A commitment to delivering excellent patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a full-time locum role, Monday to Friday, with flexible start times available. The contract is initially for 6 months, with a strong chance of extension depending on performance and service needs.
