Job overview
This maternity cover role involves working in a friendly Psychology team to provide a broad range of psychological services. The North CMHT has a growing psychology and therapy team and you will work under the supervision of experienced colleagues.
This post provides a real opportunity to be involved in service delivery that puts the people who use our services at the very heart of them.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the job are to provide assessment, formulation and psychological intervention to service users and carers within the CMHT, as well as clinical supervision. You will provide evidence-based interventions for individuals and, if relevant, also to groups. We especially need to provide trauma focused therapies so a strong background in either EMDR or Trauma Focused CBT would be preferable. You'll also help the broader MDT team with consultation and training as necessary. There may also be opportunities to take part in quality improvement projects as part of a supportive and dynamic psychology team.
