Job Title: Clinical or Counselling Psychologist – Eating Disorder Unit – Private Hospital

Hours: 30 hours per week (part time, 4 days per week)

Location: Central London (on-site)

About the Role:

Compass Associates is proud to exclusively partner with a highly respected private mental health hospital, renowned for over 30 years of exceptional patient care. We are looking for a skilled Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to bring their expertise to a dynamic multidisciplinary team, focusing on the comprehensive care and treatment of adults with eating disorders.

In this role, you’ll take charge of your own caseload of adult inpatients, offering a mix of one-on-one therapy and group sessions using evidence-based approaches. You will perform detailed psychological assessments, crafting and delivering tailored interventions to support each patient’s journey to recovery. Close collaboration with the wider MDT will ensure a seamless, high-quality care experience for all patients.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology
  2. HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist
  3. Experience working in an inpatient setting and with adults diagnosed with eating disorders
  4. Proficiency in CBT-ED, MANTRA, or SSCM therapeutic approaches
  5. Available to work on-site 4 days per week

Work Schedule:
