Job Description:
Direct Medics are working in partnership with the HSCNI to find experienced and dedicated Band 8a, 8b and 8c level Psychologists to fulfill long term vacancies with the Trusts in Northern Ireland. The successful psychologists will provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy to patients and families, at the same time as offering advice and consultation on patients’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non-professional carers. Locum roles are a great way of enhancing your earning potential as well as working with some of the most professional and successful psychology teams in the country. These roles could be full or part time, with no evening or weekend responsibilities.
Minimum Requirements:
Current HCPC registration as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist
Post-graduate doctorate in clinical or counselling psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996 or those in lateral transfer) as accredited by the BPS
Have specialised experience of exercising full clinical responsibility for clients’ psychological care and treatment, and also within the context of a multidisciplinary care plan.
