Location: Slough (with satellite clinics in Windsor, Maidenhead, Ascot, and Bracknell)
Hours: Monday to Friday, plus 1 Saturday shift every 4-6 weeks

We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 nurse to join us and become part of our friendly and supportive team at this busy Level 3 Sexual Health Clinic based in Slough.
Given the sensitive nature of this role, we are looking for an individual who is open-minded, non-judgmental, and skilled at working in a highly confidential environment.
Previous experience in family planning, including fitting and removing long-acting reversible contraception, or sexual health experience within a GUM setting is essential in this role.
As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will benefit from excellent training and professional development opportunities, such as non-medical prescriber training.
Working within Sexual Health no two days are the same. You will be met with a variety of cases, including testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, HIV care, and contraception services. This varied caseload provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills further while making a significant impact on patients' lives.

The post holder will be responsible for providing a high standard of sexual reproductive healthcare to patients accessing the sexual health service. The post holder will be expected to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team offering holistic, non-judgemental sexual health care demonstrating professional and ethical responsibilities and to build and maintain good working functional relationships with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
The post holder will be expected to supervise and mentor junior staff and nursing students and to take an active role in the leadership and management of the nursing team.
This post involves working at the Garden Clinic in Slough, but you may be required to travel to work at locality clinics in Bracknell, Windsor, and Maidenhead. It is desirable that you be a car driver with the use of a car for work purposes.
