Role: Clinical Nurse Specialist - Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic (HPB)

Hours: Full Time: 37.5hrs pw- (Mon-Fri)

We’re looking for a Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic (HPB) Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at the prestigious Harley Street Clinic, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC and renowned for having the most advanced private cancer facilities in Europe, combining state-of-the-art equipment with a dedicated team of oncologists and clinicians.
The Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic (HPB)/gastrointestinal Clinical Nurse Specialist will work in collaboration with the HPB/GI Multidisciplinary Team, providing clinical expertise, assessment of care and health needs of patients with pancreatic, liver, biliary, and gall bladder cancer conditions. Within this role, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient day-to-day operational management and service delivery of the HPB Oncology Service in partnership with the Multidisciplinary staff, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources to optimise quality whilst meeting HCA values.
You will have the opportunity to network with HPB Cancer colleagues at local and regional meetings, to ensure continuous learning, maintain best practice, and service innovation. We are looking for an expert practitioner within the specialty who has the ability to manage complex clinical situations, providing guidance, supervision, and training appropriate to peers and junior members of staff.
You will act as a key worker for a clinical caseload of patients receiving treatment for HPB cancer, working to co-ordinate care and provide easy access for ongoing support for patients. You will be actively involved in monitoring and developing HPB Oncology Services to ensure patients receive sustainable high-quality care that is safe and effective at The Harley Street Clinic/LOC. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to cross-cover the Lower Gastrointestinal service to work in collaboration with one another to provide high standards of care and gain experience while working in the organization.
