Band 7- Clinical Nurse Specialist in Eating Disorder (CYP)
We are looking for a Specialist Nurse to join our well-established, innovative Nurse-led CYP ED Intensive community treatment service. This is a great opportunity to join our highly skilled, dedicated, and friendly team.
The HIVE treatment model provides intensive community treatment including therapeutic and physical health support to CYP and families within the family home as an alternative to hospital admission. The HIVE team also support admissions and facilitate safe and early discharges from inpatient/hospital care when admission is clinically indicated.
The HIVE service is an 8-week programme for young people open to the Eating Disorder Service who have struggled to progress with routine treatment and require more intensive intervention to prevent further deterioration, a protracted illness, and/or hospital admission. Young People and their caregivers are offered needs-led, intensive community support using a blended model of F2F and virtual appointments in a variety of non-hospital settings including our clinic and family homes. Programmes are individualised and include a variety of supported meals, individual work with the YP, ongoing FBT, parent work and close physical health monitoring.

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of basic salary, with a minimum of £4,551 and maximum of £5,735, pro rata for part-time staff.
