We are delighted to offer an opportunity to work with in the Palliative care team at Kings College hospital. We are seeking a dynamic, innovative and a motivated band 7 specialist palliative care nurse. This post has been created due to upcoming maternity leave. There may be an opportunity to offer a developmental band 6 role for applications that do not meet the full specification (depending on suitable experience).
The palliative care team is an advisory service to patients with palliative care needs and promotes excellence in end of life care across the Trust. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who will contribute to the development of this dynamic multi-professional team and build on partnerships across the locality. The post will sit within a collaborative network across our Clinical Academic Group within King's Health Partners. Opportunities exist to be involved in research via established links with the Cicely Saunders Institute.
Particular emphasis is put at Kings on the need to ensure that all staff recognize their responsibility to deliver services in a high quality, courteous, patient focused manner maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
