Job Title: Clinical Locality Lead

Location: Central England - Acorn

Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE, plus car allowance

Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

Are you looking for a new opportunity that will allow you to take a step up or branch out? Are you a Practitioner Psychologist, Nurse, Social Worker, Speech and Language Therapist or Occupational Therapist looking for something a little different?

We are continuing to grow our clinical teams and are on the hunt for Clinical Locality leads with demonstrable leadership skills to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the developing clinical service within our specialist education schools and to work closely with the Heads of Clinical Operations, and regional education and care leaders to develop the clinical provision in line with neurodiversity and intersectionality affirming therapeutic support.

About the role

We are looking for outstanding trauma and neurodevelopmental differences-informed individuals with strong and proven leadership and management skills. The post holders will hold responsibility for managing lead clinicians and supporting the leadership and development of locality-based multi-disciplinary clinical teams. The teams comprise of, but are not limited to Psychology and Psychotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy.

Working independently within the overall framework of the service policies and procedures you will support the integration of their specific service in the day-to-day running of each provision. A key aspect of the role will be quality assuring the delivery of informed clinical interventions at a universal, enhanced and specialist level to support our wider teams in meeting our people’s needs in line with set Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).

Minimum Requirements:
  1. Qualified Practitioner Psychologist, Nurse (any relevant specialism considered), Social Worker, Speech and Language Therapist, or Occupational Therapist.
  2. Registered with the HCPC or other recognised professional body.
  3. Full UK Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle
  4. Experience in managing multi-disciplinary and/or multi-site teams
  5. Experience of working with people who have an intellectual disability and/or autism with additional needs (e.g. complex trauma, mental health needs, behaviours of concern)
  6. Demonstrable ability to lead and manage strategically
  7. Ability to work collaboratively with a range of key partners
  8. Able to work sensitively with people and resolve conflict effectively
  9. Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
  10. Experience of lecturing/teaching/training
  11. Skills in collecting and analysing data
