* The Salary is £23.00 - £25.00 per hour breaks paid - £52,000 - £57,000 per year
* Elderly and dementia nursing home
* Initially; 48 hours per week, 4 x 12 hour shifts reducing to 40hrs per week Mon - Fri, 9 - 5
The Brief: Working as a Clinical Lead Nurse with a Registered Nurse qualification, leading a nursing and care team providing general nursing and dementia care with a mid-sized care home. The care home is under new ownership, the home does require turn around and this is reflected in the occupancy being at 50%, and the hiring of the deputy manager is a key hire to improve this during the transition to the new owners.
The Care Home specialises in residential, dementia, end-of-life and nursing care round the clock by a dedicated & compassionate team of qualified nurses and healthcare professionals. It has just changed ownership, therefore the CQC report is yet to be completed however the previous report was poor and this reflects in the occupancy being 50%. The existing home manager and the newly appointed clinical lead nurse are key hires to improve the occupancy and other areas of the care service and you will be given full support from the owner to improve certain areas of the care home where needed. The home is dedicated to looking after the individual needs of each resident through personalised care plans. They create a homely feeling for each resident, promoting that each resident feels happy, safe, and treated with respect at all times.
