This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Advanced Practitioner or a Superintendent Radiographer in Breast Imaging, to join our team at East Cheshire NHS Trust.
We provide symptomatic services at East Cheshire NHS Trust and oversee screening services for East Cheshire, Mid Cheshire and Stockport.
We have an eligible breast screening population of approximately 121,000 women.
At the East Cheshire (Macclesfield District General Hospital) site there are 3 Siemens Mammography rooms and 3 Ultrasound rooms. Mid Cheshire (Leighton Hospital) has 3 Siemens Mammography rooms and 2 Ultrasound rooms. Our modern mobile screening unit serves the population of Stockport and has a remote digital transfer system.
This is an exciting time to join the team as we introduce Contrast Enhanced Spectral Mammography.
As Clinical Lead you will support the Radiology General Manager, Director of Breast Screening, and the Breast Screening Programme Manager to deliver a high-quality, patient-focused service, implementing new technologies and clinical developments.
