About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical/ Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join our integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP Thameside. HMP Thameside, a category B resettlement prison in South-East London, houses around 1232 patients. The prison is suitable for applicants who will be commuting as it is based close to Woolwich Arsenal and Plumstead stations. This role would suit either a newly qualified or experienced Psychologist familiar with working with adult mental health presentations including neurodiversity and complex trauma. The applicant must be familiar with trauma-informed practice and trained in at least one trauma-specific intervention. The applicant will be part of the fully staffed Integrated Mental Health Team and will be an integral part of the clinical leadership team supporting the development of the psychological therapies service.

Hours: 8.30am-4.30pm

Salary: This position is a full-time position offering up to £57,750 per annum, depending on experience.
