Join our Clinical Fellow Programme at Musgrove Park Hospital and gain invaluable experience across a variety of medical specialties. This role is ideal for candidates at F2 or ST1 level, particularly those considering a career in Medicine or related specialties.
You will rotate through three 4-month placements in departments such as
Acute Frailty, General Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Neurosciences & Stroke, and Acute Medicine. You will work closely with consultants on daily ward rounds, contributing to high-quality patient care while enhancing your clinical skills.
Main duties of the job- Provide inpatient care under consultant supervision, working Monday to Friday (09:00-17:30).
- Participate in the acute medical on-call rota.
- Engage in structured teaching programmes and clinical training.
- Maintain a clinical portfolio, contributing to revalidation and professional development.
- Participate in quality improvement projects, audits, and governance activities.
- Work alongside a dedicated pastoral tutor and educational supervisor for career development and CREST support.

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Full registration and license to practice with GMC
Desirable- BSc, BA or equivalent with grade 1 or 2:1
