Clinical Fellow in Haematology

Job summary

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Clinical Fellow to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain greater Haematology knowledge and experience. The clinical fellow will work alongside the SpR to support seven consultant haematologists delivering haematological services to patients at Torbay.

Main duties of the job

• Support clinics and the day unit.
• Develop chemotherapy prescribing skills (if not already competent).
• Support the department to develop clinical research activity.
• Support the teaching and training of the South West peninsula medical students.

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is an Integrated Care Organisation providing acute health care services from Torbay Hospital, community health services and adult social care. MBBS, Full registration (and with a licence to practice) with the General Medical Council (GMC).

Clinical Experience

Completed core medical training.

Management Administration experience

Active interest in IT, Experience of audit.
