Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5/ST6+) in Acute Medicine available to commence from 03 September 2025 until 01 September 2026.
As well as providing you with experience of working in a ward environment within a specific specialty in Medicine, this post will also offer you the opportunity to partake in the running of the General Medical Take based in the MAU and Emergency Department.
We are looking for individuals with excellent acute care skills, who will help us in our aim to return patients to their homes as soon as possible; staff will be required to be proactive in driving the patient journey and looking at all alternatives to admission beyond 12-24 hours as part of a close multidisciplinary team.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
