Clinical Endoscopist

About The Role

As InHealth continues to grow and thrive, we're seeking experienced Consultant Gastroenterologists, Endoscopists or Clinical Endoscopists to join our clinical team in our brand new Community Diagnostic Centre in Birmingham.

You'll have the opportunity to work as part of a well-oiled clinical team, in suites that are kitted out with the highest quality equipment, so you can feel confident you have the best tools for the job. Our patient lists are well planned, meaning you don't get overstretched because of slotting in extra appointments.

Working at InHealth means you have access to great facilities in a well-structured clinical environment, where you'll provide out-patient support for clinics as well as undertaking endoscopy sessions. Our advanced Gastroenterology and Endoscopy service provides a rapid examination and diagnosis service for patients in Birmingham. And it goes without saying that our focus, always, is on ensuring our patients receive high quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings.

Requirements

1. A UK registerable Medical Degree
2. GMC registration with a license to practice
3. Entry on to the specialist register for Gastroenterology or General Surgery
4. JAG Accreditation

Experience

You'll need to be able to demonstrate an exceptional level of skill in the following areas:

1. Diagnostic Colonoscopy
2. Diagnostic Gastroscopy
3. Diagnostic Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
4. Ability to undertake clinical audit of work and apply findings to clinical work
5. Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required to gaining UK CCST
6. Ability to offer expert clinical opinion on a range of issues in elective gastroenterology, drawing on substantive experience in the speciality
7. Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
