Position: Deputy Manager - RGN, RMN, RNLD
Salary: £46,238 per year (based on 36 hours per week)
Hours: Full time hours, Subject to Availability

An amazing new opportunity has become available in one of our lovely care homes. We are a registered charity, dedicated to improving the quality of life for older people through care homes, close care facilities, and social clubs across the South of England.
Details of the role:
- Reporting to the Home Manager, supporting them in carrying out the full duties of the post.
- Work as a Deputy Manager or Supporting Manager in the service for specific periods of time according to the needs of the home.
- Provide temporary relief in the absence of the manager in a Home, carrying out the full duties of the post.
- Carry out specific projects within a service, or more generally for the organisation, as specified by the Chief Operating Officer/Head of Care Services.
- Work closely with the Care & Nursing Team, relatives, and other agencies to ensure person-centred care plans are in place that put the individual at the centre of all interactions, ensuring dignity and respect are always maintained.
- Carry out duties in accordance with NMC guidelines, leading the Care & Nursing Team on shift and providing clinical leadership, practice development, feedback, and reflection to Registered Nurses and Care Assistants as well as new and developing members of staff.
Are you:
- Post qualification experience as an RGN/RMN and currently registered with NMC.
- Previous managerial experience of leading a care team in the care of older people, or related social care setting.
- Have evidence of continuing professional development.
- Have a working knowledge of the regulatory framework relating to Care Homes.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead, support and motivate a dedicated care team.
- The ability to take responsibility for the safeguarding of older people.
- Commitment to the ongoing training and development of your team.
- You must be able to travel between Care Homes.
