An existing opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified Clinical, Counselling or Health psychologist to join the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Long Covid psychology team within the department of Clinical Health Psychology at Salford Royal Hospital.
Permanent contract 37.5 hours per week Band 7 Preceptorship / Band 8a
Hybrid working is encouraged with the post-holder splitting the week between working from home and attending the hospital base in Salford.

We can offer you excellent peer support and supervision within the general medicine team and as part of the wider department which is shared between the clinical health psychology and neuropsychology teams.
Enthusiasm and commitment are essential as are excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A commitment to provision of evidence-based health care is essential. An understanding of the psychological factors influencing physical health and delivery of health care would be desirable.
