An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Clinical/Counseling Psychologist to join their innovative team in High Wycombe. Located in High Wycombe, near the towns of Marlow and Maidenhead, Priory Hospital Marlow supports the NHS by offering specialist eating disorder services for adults. The grounds and facilities at Marlow have been specifically designed to provide a safe and therapeutic environment for those we support.
We are fully accredited by the Quality Network for Eating Disorders (QED).
Registration with HCPC is an essential criteria with ongoing renewal of your registration every 2 years with the HCPC.
We are looking for a Clinical/Counseling Psychologist who is passionate about helping us deliver an innovative and person-centred service to patients experiencing an Eating Disorder and significant psychosocial impairment due to eating disorder features. There are training opportunities available, scope to support with relevant research, service development (e.g. teaching and training in and across profession), and supervision opportunities.
The successful candidate will work as part of a highly experienced multi-disciplinary team with adults with eating disorders. You will be expected to deliver group and individual therapy in addition to support and involve families and carers within the patient treatment plan. The caseload will also include ward rounds, multi-disciplinary and professionals meetings where you will have the opportunity to work with the wider team and stakeholders. You will be encouraged to develop academic and clinical knowledge in the context of service-related continuing professional development.
All roles will be subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Access NI or Disclosure Scotland. We are an equal opportunities employer. Priory will cover the cost of a DBS check.
