The successful candidate will be a registered nurse with substantial experience in cardiology nursing along with knowledge of cardiovascular disease and treatments, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of the wider cardiac rehab team.
The role will include the delivery of cardiac rehabilitation and heart failure in DMH primarily, but may include travel to other sites, delivery of phase I care and working with the wider cardiac rehab team to deliver high quality patient care. The role of the specialist nurse will also include post MI reviews, assisting in loop implants, and assisting in cardioversions.
