Job Title: Client Strats Quantitative Strategist

Location: London

Corporate Title: Vice President

The Quantitative Strategist identifies, designs, develops and implements analytics dashboards using Tableau, Python, and Structured Query Language (SQL) to meet business needs. They own the holistic delivery of strategic initiatives within a business, function or a bank-wide program and leverage their extensive domain knowledge and strong technical development expertise to create value and solve complex challenges in line with the sponsor's strategic priorities.

You will work within the Global Strategic Analytics Team implementing effective and efficient solutions for primarily the sales organisation. The team has an ongoing mandate to improve, enhance and support the Bank's effort to meet regulatory expectations for controls, including Know Your Client (KYC) requirements as well as deliver insightful analytics on client risk for the sales and trading organisation.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective and efficient Tableau dashboards on client risk metrics.
  • Support multiple asset classes and business across the firm's global footprint.
  • Support and understand the creation of a centre of excellence for data analysis, data curation, and process analysis to support the front office business, infrastructure functions, and risk.
  • Manage all client risk including revenue, KYC risks, and capital allocations.
  • Develop and understand automated calculations for these methodologies within the Bank's strategic systems, as well as ensuring the continued smooth operating of such calculations.

Your skills and experience:

  • Mandatory - extensive end-to-end Tableau dashboard development experience, ideally within a financial services environment. Expertise in visualization design and ClickHouse a plus.
  • Educated to Bachelor's degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience. Experienced developing front-office banking applications.
  • Excellent computing and programming (coding) skills and experience (including recent) of programming languages, especially Python and SQL as well as standard development tools (such as GitHub, Bitbucket).
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams and functions.
